HALLOUMI + DATE CHILI BITES

Serves: 4
Sweet. Salty. Crispy. Dangerous.


Ingredients

  • 8 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 8 oz halloumi cheese, cut into small cubes or sticks
  • 2–3 tbsp Sobelini Pizza Crunch – Truffle
  • 2 tbsp hot honey or regular honey
  • 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • Olive oil, for searing

Instructions

Slice each date lengthwise and remove the pit if needed. Stuff each date with a piece of halloumi and gently press closed.

Heat a small skillet over medium heat with a light drizzle of olive oil. Sear the stuffed dates for 1–2 minutes per side until the halloumi softens and develops golden edges.

Transfer to a serving plate while warm. Spoon Sobelini Truffle Crunch over each bite, making sure to get both the oil and the crunchy bits.

Drizzle lightly with honey and finish with chopped pistachios and lemon zest. Serve warm.
