The Sobelini Burger

The Sobelini Burger

Serves: 4
A classic smashburger with an Italian twist.

Why This Works

Beef loves Parmesan, garlic, and chili. Sobelini replaces ordinary burger sauce with layered Italian flavor while keeping the burger juicy and adding the crunch that makes every bite different.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Sobelini Pizza Crunch – Original
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 large beefsteak tomato, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, very thinly sliced
  • Butter for toasting buns

Instructions

Divide the beef into four loose 6-ounce balls and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat a cast-iron skillet or flat top over high heat. Smash each burger into the hot surface and cook for about 2 minutes until deeply browned. Flip, top with provolone, and cook another 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts.

Mix the mayonnaise and Sobelini together to make the burger sauce.

Lightly butter and toast the buns.

Spread the Sobelini mayo on both halves of each bun. Add the burger, followed by tomato, red onion, and a handful of arugula. Finish with one more spoonful of Sobelini Pizza Crunch before closing the burger.

Serve immediately.

Chef's Tip

For both recipes, reserve a final spoonful of Sobelini for the very end instead of cooking it into the food. The fresh oil, crunchy garlic, fennel seeds, and Calabrian chiles stay vibrant and deliver the signature texture that makes Sobelini stand out.
